Krosus is a massive doom lord and the fourth boss of the Nighthold. During the battle for the Broken Shore, Krosus was summoned by Gul'dan to seemingly kill Tirion Fordring, after which he was defeated by the combined forces of the Alliance and the Horde.

Adventure Guide

This colossal doom lord, one of the largest and mightiest creatures in the armies of the Legion, was defeated at the Broken Shore through the combined might of the greatest heroes of the Horde and the Alliance. Having recovered from his wounds, Krosus emerges from the bay between the Nighthold and the Tomb of Sargeras to crush any who would oppose the Legion.

Overview

Players encounter Krosus on a broken section of bridge. Over the course of the encounter, Krosus smashes sections of the bridge, forcing players to retreat into a dwindling space. If Krosus is not defeated in time, players will be left with no foothold, and will plunge into the sea and perish.

Abilities

Searing Brand — Krosus periodically places a brand on his current target that inflicts 175000 Fire damage every 1 sec. for 20 sec. This effect stacks.

Fel Beam — Krosus emits a beam of fel energy from one of his hands inflicting 2720000 to 2780000 Fire damage to all enemies within the effect.

Orb of Destruction — Krosus lobs an orb of fel energy at a target that impacts after 5 sec inflicting 3000000 Fire damage. Allies farther from the impact take less damage.

Burning Pitch — Krosus unleashes blasts of molten lava from his shoulders. Each glob of lava inflicts 733000 to 767000 Fire damage to all enemies within 3 yards upon landing. If the Burning Pitch does not impact a player a Burning Ember is formed.

Burning Ember

Felblast — Fires a blast of felflame at a random target that inflicts 682000 to 718000 Fire damage.

Felburst — Fires a bolt of felfire at a random target that explodes upon impact inflicting 665000 to 695000 Fire damage to all enemies within 5 yards of the detonation.

Accelerate — Krosus accelerates the decay of a random Burning Ember causing it to gain 10 energy every 1.29999995 sec.

Burnout — Upon reaching 100 energy the Burning Ember explodes inflicting 2193750 to 2306250 Fire damage to all players.

Slam — Krosus slams his fists into the bridge creating a shockwave that inflicts 2826250 to 3123750 Physical damage to all players. Players standing under his fists take 2193750 to 2306250 Physical damage. If both fists are absorbed in this way, the damage to all other players is reduced to 1320000 to 1380000 Physical damage.

Isolated Rage — Inflicts 292500 to 307500 Physical damage to all enemies every 0.5 sec. This attack is only used by Krosus whenever he is not actively engaged in melee combat.
