Every now and then, the Archivists of the Maergzjiran Cabal come across information outside of the Temple that is so potent and valuable that it cannot be set aside in the coffers; it must explored and embraced; tested and exalted upon its successful manifestation and manipulation of this world. Such is the case with this ring. Recently, our Archivists discovered a lost journal that belonged to one of our Patriarch, Sybastien Drujziya’s heirs. In this journal he writes of a gateway that was opened by Aurashniya, leading to a plane of utter darkness. Only the light of the spirit could permeate the veil of the plane. However, he was lead to a spire in the midst of the blackness. After journeying through it, he happened upon the remains of what appeared to be some forgotten king. He searched him for anything of value; magickal relics, notes, etc. Keeping with Cabal tradition, he returned the King to his throne and offered a prayer to Zazazel, the Buried King and Archdemon of Necromancy with the Maergzjiran pantheon, before returning to this, the material plane. In the nights that followed, the spirit of the dead king came to Levente and offered him his many dark secrets of how he learned to walk the planes independently without any rites or rituals, without calling upon spirits or demons to open gateways, etc. Levente experimented with the use of the King’s magicks until alas he discovered the exact technique of speaking the words of power, the means of opening his own gates, traversing them, and how and where they connected. From this, he crafted a ring which was embedded with all of his knowledge and memories on the subject. The ring was then attuned fully and could be used nearly on the spot to open these gates wherever Levente wished to go. The sigil that was formed upon his ring is that which is enchanted and empowered into this ring now available. It has been imbued with all knowledge and mastery of the arts of the planes by conjuring the spirit of Levente Drujziya and carefully enchanting the ring with his essence. As a secondary, the essence of Aurashniya was injected into the ring as well for a bolstered effect on easily manipulating the planar fibers. Truly this ring is an unexpected though incredibly cherished relic to possess. Untold and unfathomed possibilities await.
