This dark vessel is bound to the otherworldly demon known as Ronian (Roh-nee-in). Ronian is a slayer of flesh, sanity, and spirit. He is a shadow manifest that cuts deeply into any individual’s being when requested. Further, he teaches the means of manipulating pain and shadows so that one who works with him shall hold dominion as he does in the darkness. Disciples who work extensively in Hananjur’s Court, Zazazel’s Court, and the Shadow Court come to know of “The Ebon Hand”; which is an elite order of Disciples who specialize in magickal assassination, stealth, and secrecy. Ronian is one of the rogue Demons who, despite being a solitary Shadow Demon, resides in the shadows alongside Fortinghast. Ronian came to the Cabal when the Ascended Grandmaster brought the Zhanith into the folds of the Cabal and released the power of the Umbral Tower. Ronian, who had been watching this process, came forth on the day of annexation for the Shadows. He offered to walk between the Shadows and in the candlelight so that he may teach Disciples and carry out their marks. A stone rests within the vessel which can be used to connect with Ronian and the Shadows. A scroll of instruction is also included which details Ronian’s purpose, how to contract him, and how to work beside him.
