This talisman is a gem among the Cabal.  Each of the Thirteen Blighted Lords of Maergzjirah hold immense power over their specified dominion, and with it; comes the power to ward off incoming forces of those types to their Disciples. This talisman is enchanted utilizing the Grand Circle whereby the Thirteen Blighted Lords and Ladies are summoned and where each places a fragment of themselves into the relic. The power behind the enchantment is that should its wearer be target either naturally, magickally, or supernaturally by some negative force that one of the Thirteen Blighted Lords holds dominion over, it will immediately be nullified and force back upon its sender with the full force of Hell. Minor effects are left to do as they will. With such incredible power and such a promise from the Lords and Ladies of Maergzjirah, these protective wards are used only for the most severe of effects that would otherwise disable, turn, or destroy its wearer.  It must also be noted that once the ward has been used and loses its power, it will need to be charged by its Keeper by wrapping it in black cloth, placing it within a wooden box, bound, and buried in a place of evil, darkness, or death for one cycle of the moon.
