Necromancers of the Tower of Atrophy within the Maergzjiran Cabal who have ascended to the rank of Luminary Necromancer become very well-acquainted with a Past Grand Necromancer of the Tower, Johan Hargrave who resides in Keraktes. Aside from opening a black gate the size of a house which was a two-way door to Keraktes in the 1600's in the outskirts of what is now Lichfield in the United Kingdom and led about three dozen Disciples and Pagans alike into the sanctuary of Keraktes, his greatest contribution to the Cabal was his magickal creation known as a "soulseed". The soulseed gave the Necromancer the ability to plant as aspect of himself into others or into a past or future incarnation of oneself. This was very similar to how the Archdemons bestow an aspect of their essence upon Disciples. Johan's uses were many, and one notably was after implanting a seed within another, he could use his Spirit to pass through their own soul whereby collecting information of knowledge, memories, dreams, and other useful notes that assisted him in his craft. Further, after the gate had been closed, it allowed him to walk between planes as he wished through any individual who harbored his soulseed. Much like a Lich, having their body destroyed uses their Spirit to find a new vessel to inhabit, so was this avenue available in whatever plane of existence he wished; even transcending the boundaries of time and space. Johan needed no phylactery in the traditional necromantic sense as anyone he wished to hold his soulseed instantly became his phylactery. In Keraktes, he established the Locus of the Harventine for he and his fellows and any other Disciple who wishes to venture there. The Locus is a place of incredible learning and absorption of Keraktian energy and power. These great powers to walk the planes, enter the souls of whomever you wish is all contained in this ritual pack. Included is a special enchanted vessel, two anointed candles, a specially enchanted stone, the Harventine Sigil Scroll, and a scroll of instruction which explains how to bring it all together and execute one of the greatest feats of necromancy in the multiverse.
