In celebration of the Cabal's recently mastered knowledge of shadow magick and unification with the Zhanith, the Shadow Phylactery has been offered for all Disciples who wish to join the shades of L'Oirna Isto. Like other phylacteries, this too carries a 'heart' which is charged and exchanges energy with its Master; leading to the immaculate umbral transfiguration. The nature of the Zhanith is quite mysterious, though what can be said is that unlike Demons who reside in a seperate plane (Maergzjirah), the Zhanith come and go between the native plane of L'Oirna Isto and elsewhere in the multiverse simply via darkness and shadow. They reflect all worlds for better and worse alike; their natural state of being is the reflection of what looks upon them. Despite this sounding paradoxical and impossible to fully understand, joining with the essence of the Zhanith reveals a great many secrets regarding how infinitely one can exist in this manner, how to weave the darkness, shape reality, control fate, and weave magick into creations far beyond the fathomable scope of most Magi. This relic is paramount in a multitude of ways as one might expect. However, this phylactery can be used as a stand-alone phylactery as a Necromancer would use and it can also be linked similarly with another phylactery as again, the Zhanith reflect and amplify all that lies in darkness. The Shadow Phylactery is a keystone relic for any Disciple, though more especially for those who have chosen to walk the umbral path. The phylactery comes with a specially charged stone, anointed candle, sigil scroll, and a scroll of instruction which details the main methods for employing this phylactery.
